British Night In

This is the finished "British Night In"

Now that this project is complete i want to announce 2 new projects i intend to produce in my spare time over the next year.

The first project is called "Shaken" it's a short film of a script i wrote this summer and developed in my script writing class.

Its about a major world event and the way people act when caught in the middle of it. The event itself is a mystery to the audience but through flashbacks the audience find out some of the first warning signs and start to piece together the story.

The second project is called "The Next Room" and its a webseries with six 8 minute episodes. The first 2 episodes are written and the other 4 are around 1/4 finished. Its a scifi series about a group of 4 people trapped inside a room. It is full of science fiction elements and plot twists with alot of character development.

I will update weekly from now on with updates on both along with progress on class projects.

Coventry Market Project

This is the Coventry Market Project

Before you watch the videos you should bear in mind that this is a project composed entirely of test footage.

I hope you enjoy the videos. More to come as the project continues.

Lock Stock Market 1st Cut

You may notice that the second video has a different ending to the first and thats because after editing the first cut i wanted to go back and shoot a more dramatic ending.

While editing i thought it might be fun to make the ending overly dramatic so it becomes a parody of itself.

Lock Stock Market 2nd Cut

Thanks for watching.

So why start a blog?

Hey Everyone.
This is now the official "Gallagher Productions" and "Christ on a Bike Films" blog.

So why start a blog now?

Well the short answer is.......I was forced to.

The longer answer is that because i am now attending university i get given assignments to do. One module of the year involves every student in my class writing a weekly blog/e-portfolio where we tell our weekly progress with our media related activities and projects.

Here i will be posting alot of "work in progress" videos. This will help show the progress of a project from the beginning to end while showing the steps along the way.

Very soon i will be writing a quick summary of the work so far done this term and work i have done before attending.

I hope this becomes an interesting read as the year goes on.
